Clay Workshop - Beginner Jewelry making - November sessions
Get creative and have some fun where all the Iggy and Lou Lou magic happens – at Irene’s beautiful studio in Aspendale. ( Featured in numerous publications like the Design Files and the Thames & Hudson book of plant loving studios from around the world- Indoor Green.)
This intimate workshop (10 people max) will help you flex your creative muscles. No prior ceramic experience is necessary with sessions catering to all. Come with your friends or make some new ones in a relaxing and creative environment. ( Get 10% off when you buy 2 or more tickets)
You’ll be designing and making your very own pendant which will be professionally assembled onto a fine grade sterling silver chain. You can make as many additional pendants and charms in the time you have left and additional sterling silver fastenings and chains can be purchased if you desire.
Irene will teach you all the tricks shes learnt making her Iggy & Lou jewels which have been featured in numerous mags and worn by style icons like Emily Blunt, Nicole Richie and M83.
You can be super creative making clay jewellery -abstract, figurative, glossy, matte, decals, textural, minimal - it will be up to you what piece you make with your ball of clay. Create your own design with expert help or be guided step by step to make your own Iggy bluebird, anchor, floral or etched design. Whatever you choose you are going to walk away with an amazing piece/s of jewellery that you have made to treasure forever!
Everything you make at the workshop will be professionally glazed and jewels assembled to be picked up or sent to you from the studio 3-4 weeks following your workshop.
Workshop Duration: 1.5 hours
• a glass of bubbles (or two!) on arrival
• A behind the scenes studio tour of the Iggy & Lou Lou ceramic process
• ALL materials (clay, tools, paints, decals etc) to design and make your ceramic pendant
• Professional instruction and hands-on learning in a relaxing creative environment- specifically using a variety of technical and textural applications to create a ceramic pendant
•1 x fine grade Sterling silver chain and findings professionally assembled to make your finished ceramic pendant
• Choice of optional decals
• Provision to make more ceramic pendants and charms once first is finished. (additional sterling silver chains, findings and decals for the extra pieces can be purchased on the day)
• Our professional glazing and optional decal application including multiple firings for your pendant/s

Refunds & Cancellations:
Please choose carefully. Due to limited class sizes once you've booked and paid we can only issue a refund if the workshop is cancelled.Iggy & Lou Lou reserves the right to cancel the workshop if minimum numbers are not met and on that occasion you will receive a full refund. If you are unable to attend the course for any reason you may send a friend in your place. Unfortunately we are unable to offer make up classes for this workshop. There are strictly no credits issued for classes that cannot be attended. Your purchase is acceptance of these terms.

*Wear comfortable clothes you dont mind getting clay or paint on or
*An apron/ smock or large over-shirt
*Remember all drinks are taken care of but food and clay dont mix so make sure you come with a full tummy!
