This intimate workshop (10 people max) will help you flex your creative muscles. No prior ceramic experience is necessary with sessions catering to all. Come with your friends or make some new ones in a relaxing and creative environment. ( Get 10% off when you buy 2 or more tickets)
With a Masters of Fine Arts in ceramics, Irene will share some top tips and secrets about the ceramic-making process as she teaches you to make and paint your pieces from scratch using the pinch pot and coil building techniques. Beginning with a ball of clay simple clay vessels such as bowls and small vases will be formed and shaped by hand using the pinching process in which the clay walls are thinned by pinching them with thumb and forefinger. You will be taught how to add height and form to your piece using Coils (thin sausage shapes you build the sides of your pot up with.) ALL Materials and tools will be provided. Everything you make at the workshop will be professionally glazed and ready to be picked up from the studio 3-4 weeks following your workshop.
Workshop Duration: 2.5 hours

Refunds & Cancellations:
Please choose carefully. Due to limited class sizes once you've booked and paid we can only issue a refund if the course is cancelled. Iggy & Lou Lou reserves the right to cancel the workshop if minimum numbers are not met and on that occasion you will receive a full refund. If you are unable to attend the course for any reason you may send a friend in your place. Unfortunately we are unable to offer make up classes for this course. There are strictly no credits issued for classes that cannot be attended. Your purchase is acceptance of these terms.
